Navigating Life Transitions with Support and Intention
Virtual Therapy for Life Changes in Oregon, Mississippi & Texas
Life transitions can be both exciting and overwhelming. Whether it's a new career, a move, marriage, becoming a parent, separation, or simply redefining who you are, change often stirs up emotions that can feel unpredictable or even unsettling.
These moments challenge us to grow—but they can also make us question everything we thought we knew about ourselves. You may find yourself asking:
"Why does this feel so hard when it's something I wanted?"
"I should be happy, but I feel lost."
"How do I adjust when everything around me is changing?"
If that sounds familiar, you're not alone.
Life Changes That Might Bring You to Therapy
Transitions come in many forms, and each one carries its own unique challenges. You might be navigating:
Career Changes
Starting a new job, changing careers, retirement, or feeling stuck professionally. The question "What's next?" can feel paralyzing.
Loss & Grief
Death of a loved one, loss of a friendship, or grieving the life you thought you'd have.
Relationship Transitions
Getting married, divorced or separation, becoming a parent, empty nest, or redefining relationships after major changes.
Geographic Moves
Relocating to a new city or state, leaving familiar places behind, or adjusting to unfamiliar surroundings.
Identity Shifts
Questioning who you are, exploring your values, or realizing the person you've been isn't who you want to be anymore.
Life Stage Changes
Turning 30, 40, 50—milestones that make you reassess your life, goals, and sense of purpose.
Whatever transition you're facing, therapy provides a space to process, reflect, and move forward with intention.
An Integrative, Person-Centered Approach

What to Expect in Life Transition Therapy
Your First Session: We'll talk about the transition you're facing, how it's affecting you, and what support you're looking for. This is a conversation, not an interrogation—just an opportunity to understand your experience.
Creating Clarity: Together, we'll explore what this transition means for you, what fears or hopes are coming up, and what you need to move forward.
Processing Emotions: Transitions bring up complex feelings—excitement, grief, fear, relief. We'll create space for all of it, helping you process emotions rather than pushing them aside.
Building a Path Forward: You'll develop practical strategies for managing the transition, making decisions aligned with your values, and creating a vision for your next chapter.
Moving with Intention: Therapy helps you approach change with purpose rather than just reacting to it. You'll learn to trust yourself and move forward with confidence.
