Anxiety & Stress Management Therapy in Oregon, Mississippi & Texas
Finding Calm in the Chaos
If you've been feeling constantly on edge, overwhelmed, or like your thoughts just won't slow down—you're not alone. Anxiety and stress can show up in so many ways: racing thoughts, sleepless nights, irritability, perfectionism, or even physical symptoms like headaches, fatigue, and tension. You might feel like you have to hold everything together, even when it's taking everything out of you.
Therapy can be the space where you finally stop running on autopilot and start reconnecting with yourself—your peace, your confidence, and your ability to manage life's challenges without feeling like you're drowning in them.
How I Help You Manage Anxiety & Stress
In our sessions, we'll focus on helping you:
Understand Your Anxiety
We'll explore what triggers your anxiety, how it's maintained, and how to change your relationship with it. Instead of just managing symptoms, you'll gain real insight into why anxiety keeps showing up.
Develop Practical Tools for Managing Stress
From mindfulness and grounding techniques to communication and boundary-setting, you'll learn strategies that work in real life—not just textbook advice.
Create Emotional Balance
Learn to respond rather than react, and find calm even when life feels uncertain. You'll develop the skills to regulate your emotions instead of being controlled by them.
Rebuild Self-Trust
You'll learn to handle what life throws at you without being consumed by worry. When you trust yourself to cope, anxiety loses its power.
An Integrative, Person-Centered Approach
I use an integrative, person-centered approach to anxiety therapy. That means I meet you where you are—whether you need a safe space to unload, or practical strategies to manage symptoms.
My goal isn't just to help you "cope" better. It's to help you understand yourself better, break free from cycles that aren't working, and build lasting tools for emotional resilience.
You're not a diagnosis. You're a whole person navigating real challenges, and therapy should honor that.
Does this sound familiar…
You might look like you have it all together on the outside but are silently struggling on the inside. You're self-aware enough to know something needs to change and brave enough to reach out for help.
My ideal client isn't "perfect"—they're human.
You might be:
✓ Tired of feeling stuck in cycles of overthinking or burnout
✓ Ready to understand why anxiety keeps showing up in your life
✓ Willing to be open and honest, even when it's uncomfortable
✓ Hoping to grow emotionally, mentally, and personally
If that sounds like you, then you're exactly the kind of person I love working with.
You don't need to have it figured out—you just need to show up.
Signs You Might Benefit from Anxiety Therapy
Anxiety doesn't always look the same for everyone. You might benefit from therapy if you're experiencing:
Racing thoughts that won't slow down, especially at night
Constant worry about things that might go wrong
Physical symptoms like headaches, muscle tension, or fatigue
Irritability or feeling on edge for no clear reason
Perfectionism that drives you to exhaustion
Difficulty relaxing or "turning off" your mind
Avoidance of situations that trigger anxiety
Feeling like you have to control everything to feel safe
Sleepless nights or disrupted sleep patterns
The sense that you're barely holding it together
If any of these resonate, you're not broken—you're human. And therapy can help.
What to Expect in Anxiety Therapy
Your First Session: We'll talk about what's been going on, what brings you to therapy, and what you hope to achieve. There's no pressure—just a conversation to understand your experience and see if we're a good fit.
Building Understanding: Together, we'll explore your anxiety patterns, triggers, and how they've developed over time. Understanding the "why" helps us create meaningful change.
Learning New Skills: You'll develop practical tools for managing anxiety, stress, and overwhelming emotions. These aren't one-size-fits-all strategies—they're tailored to your life and what actually works for you.
Creating Lasting Change: Therapy isn't just about feeling better temporarily. It's about building lasting emotional resilience so you can navigate life's challenges with confidence and calm.
Moving at Your Pace: Healing isn't linear, and we'll move at a pace that feels right for you. Some weeks will feel like breakthroughs, others like maintenance—and that's okay.
